    1. Not if you follow the order of operations. Multiplication is done before any subtraction or addition can happen

  5. No good at math (I repeated basic algebra 3 times in college). I was good until the 2nd line trying to figure out how 2 bell multiplied by a candy cane gave me the answer of 12 when the candy cane equals 5.....see what I mean, no clue! But I tried.

  6. I have forgotten everything about PEMDAS apparently. Someone please explain. I looked at the answer and tried to even go back and see how they got there. Just for the third one.
